How did it go? Tuesday 8th January 2019

At the first Families 4 Families WA meeting of the new year, we get together to share people’s experiences of Christmas and the New Year.  For some individuals and families who are managing experiences of mental distress, drug and alcohol use and/or criminal justice involvement, it has been a time of reconnection, even if somewhat tentative and hesitant.  For some, it has been a time of joy that has reflected journeys of recovery and increased wellbeing.  For others, it has been a difficult and fraught period made worse by the relentless seasonal calls to happiness and good cheer.

Whatever your experience, feel free to come along and share.

Venue:  The Carer Centre, 182 Lord Street, Perth  (venue kindly supported by Helping Minds and Carers WA).

Date & Time:   Tuesday 8th January 2019.  7pm – 8.30pm.

RSVPs appreciated by text to 0413 861 049.

Families 4 Families WA is a peer-based education and support group run by Mental Health Matters 2 in partnership with Cyrenian House drug and alcohol agency.
