CONGRATULATIONS to Ann McGuire, MHM2 Board member and volunteer who was recently awarded the Mental Health Employee or Volunteer Excellence Award at the WA Mental Health Awards.
The award recognises an outstanding contribution to mental health in WA by an individual employed or volunteering within WA’s mental health sector (private, public or not-for-profit).
Over the past five years Ann has taken up several volunteer roles within MHM2 including as inaugural Board member; family peer facilitator at Families 4 Families WA and co-developer of submissions and foundation documents for MHM2.
Ann has dedicated a significant amount of time, energy and expertise to her volunteer roles, rendering her contributions particularly generous and donated as a retiree.
