We’ve been delighted to be working with the folks from St Pat’s Aboriginal Services program to deliver Peer Skillset training. The work done by the Aboriginal Peer Navigators and the Aboriginal Services team at St Pat’s Community Services (Fremantle) makes practical and profound differences in people’s lives – people who are navigating homelessness and often a myriad of social challenges. Thanks to our colleague Tracy Wilson who generously co-facilitated this work with us. Robust discussions around contemporary mental health, alcohol and other drug peer work; co-learning Lived Experience (Peer) knowledge and skills in culturally secure conversations – what’s not to love!
