Do you need support for a family member’s alcohol and other drug use?

Families 4 Families WA (Zoom) Tuesday 23rd November 2021 7pm – 8pm

Topic:  Accessing 24/7 support through the Parent and Family Drug Support Line

Guest Presenter: Charlotte, Co-ordinator, Parent and Family Drug Support – Mental Health Commission
Do you ever need to talk with someone about a family member’s alcohol or other drug use? Maybe on a Friday night or a Sunday afternoon when most services are closed? Are you thinking about how to manage potentially difficult situations relating to alcohol or drug use around Christmas / New Year?
The Parent Family Drug Support Line is a confidential, non-judgmental telephone counselling, information and referral service for anyone concerned about a loved one’s alcohol or drug use. Callers have the option to speak to an experienced parent volunteer. Parents and family members of people that use alcohol and other drugs say it’s like riding an emotional roller coaster – it can leave you feeling isolated, powerless, confused and ashamed. If you’re struggling to cope with your loved one’s drug and alcohol use contact the PFDSL.

If you’re a first time F4FWA attendee, simply email [email protected] or text 0413 861 049 and we’ll send you the Zoom link.
