Carer Advocacy Service – HelpingMinds Tues 27th August 7pm

Have you ever felt nervous about attending a meeting as a family member? Would it be helpful to have someone experienced to go with you and provide support?
The Carer Advocacy service at HelpingMinds can do just that…and more.
Continuing our theme of knowing your rights and how to assert them, Dr Richard Bostwick who leads the Carer Advocacy service will be the guest presenter at F4FWA on Tuesday 27th August (7pm – 8.30pm).

Richard is currently working at HelpingMinds as the Head of Intake. Prior to this he worked at The University of Notre Dame (Fremantle) as a senior lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, teaching predominantly mental health, research and informatics.
Richard is passionate about mental health and wellbeing, in particular pastoral care, having completed his PhD focusing on support systems for tertiary students with psychological distress.
